Honda CRF450X working brake light 

fits: 2019+

This is a complete working brake light setup for your CRF450X to replace your stock running light. Plugs directly into the OEM harness - at the bullet connectors. The tail light fits into the rear fender and works as a run and brake light when the bike is on/ running. 

includes: 

Run/ Brake light with 3 pin connector

Rear brake banjo bolt pressure switch with 2 pin connector

Y-harness for connecting to the OEM harness, brake switch, and tail light - run and brake. 

*includes new clamps and screws to hold the wires to the rear fender and  zip ties to secure the wires. 

Install:

1. remove the seat, left side cover, and oem running light 

2. plug the new Source Offroad Y-harness into the oem bullet connectors - one male and one female so you cannot mix them up. Route the wires along subframe for banjo bolt - labeled “banjo bolt” and has a 2 pin connector

3. remove the oem banjo bolt from the rear brake master cylinder and install the new banjo bolt/ pressure switch. *you can remove the rubber boot for install and make sure the wires are not twisted or pinched, then slide the rubber boot back on. If you do this without pulling air into the system, tighten the bolt and you’re ready to ride, but if you sucked air into the line or are unsure of yourself then it would be necessary to bleed the rear brake system before you test/ ride the bike.

4. plug the new banjo bolt pressure switch into the 2 pin connector on the new harness and zip tie to the engine case (2) and rear brake line (2) 

5. install the new run/ brake light and use included clamps and screws to secure the wires to the rear fender. The light has a 3 pin connector and plugs into the 3 pin connector on the harness 

6. start the bike and verify the light is working as a running light, then step on the brake pedal and verify the brake light illuminates brightly. Re-install the side number plate, seat, etc
